Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS), an ISO (9001-2008)certified organisation since 2001, was started in 1980 by the members of Kerala Samajam, a linguistic minority in the state of Jharkhand and non-trading organization under “The Societies Registration Act” 1976.. Today it is easily recognised as one of the best schools in town with modern teaching facilities and a team of dedicated and committed faculty with a strength of 3300 students

KSMS focuses on the all-round development of the students through value addition in academics, skill development and inculcation of values in a safe learning environment. In order to achieve this, the school ensures training and development of its workforce.

Tata Education Excellence Programme (TEEP)

Launched in 2003, the Tata Steel Education Excellence Programme has over the years promoted Excellence in Education in the schools of Jamshedpur and a select few in the vicinity of Tata Steel's outlocations.

At the end of the TEEP cycle, the best improvement initiatives of all these platforms are shortlisted, presented before a Jury and felicitated at the TEEP Annual award programme.

Model School

The school offers comprehensive education to students from class L.Kg to Std XII. It is based on the ICSE/ISC curriculum conducted under the aegis of Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi. The medium of instruction is English and it is a co-educational school offering its services to a cosmopolitan cross-section of students from all strata of society. The school offers its students Science and Commerce stream at Std IX - XII level.

The students from Std II – XII are divided into four houses, namely Charity, Hope, Joy and Peace. All students from std. II onwards are given an opportunity to participate in various intra school co-curricular competitions. The school offers hobbies to students from class IV – VII.. Participation in Inter-school Regional, National and International competitions is offered to the students
