A P R Nair Memorial Invitational Basketball Tournament 2024 held at Kerala Samajam Model School, in memory of Late Mr. A P R Nair, Ex-Chairman, Kerala Samajam.

The two day (6th September and 9th September, 2024) Basketball tournament was organized at KSMS Basketball Court by Kerala Samajam and KSMS in which teams from schools of the city were participants.

On 6th September, 2024, the opening of the tournament was done by the Chief Guest Mr K. Muralidharan, President – Kerala Samajam at 8:30 a.m. The trial matches were played on a knock-out basis between Boys teams and Girls teams.

On 9th September, 2024, 6:00 p.m. onwards at KSMS Basketball Court, the finals were held.

The FINAL matches were between

Girls team – RMS Khutadih vs KPS Burmamines

RMS Khutadih : Winners

KPS Burmamines : Runners

Boys team – KPS Kadma vs KSMS

KPS Kadma : Winners

KSMS : Runners

Best boy – A Sagar from KSMS

Best girl – Aditi from RMS Sonari

Games teachers Mr. Deepak Jagan, Md. Shahbaz Khan, Ms. Anjani and Mr. Jay Kumar from the school organised the tournament.

Mr. K Muralidharan, President, Kerala Samajam, Mr. K.P.G Nair, Chairman, Kerala Samajam, Ms. Nandini Shukla, Principal, and Vice-principal – Ms. Rina Banerjee, Ms. Sujata and Mr. A L Abraham, members from Kerala Samajam, parent and teachers were present to witness the matches.
