A Knowledge Sharing Session was conducted by the Department of Commerce of the school in the Mini Hall for the teachers of classes VIII to XII.
Under the guidance of HOD Mr. Saikat Nandy, and with the contributions of Ms. Sarbjeet Kaur, Mr. Sandeep Bhogal, Ms. Sheela Sudhakaran, and Ms. Sunitha, the department showcased its best practices.These included connecting classroom learning with real-life situations through case studies, conducting Improvement and Achievement classes for Classes X and XII, and organizing MCQ-based assessments before and after the pre-boards. Teachers also engaged students with discussions on model answers and stock market–related case studies, mock viva sessions, and activity-based teaching methods. To enhance learning beyond the classroom, the faculty has been creating and sharing educational content via YouTube and Instagram.
The session was graced by our Principal, Ms. Nandini Shukla, who appreciated the efforts of the department and expressed her happiness over the innovative practices being implemented. The event concluded with a presentation of improved performance analysis for Classes IX to XII, reflecting the positive outcomes of these initiatives. The department looks forward to continuing such practices to ensure the holistic development of students.
