The Annual Youth Festival : Awsar 2025 was held in Kerala Samajam Model School for the students of classes I to VII. Awsar is an exhilarating celebration of talent, teamwork, and house pride. Here, the four mighty Houses of KSMS — Charity, Hope, Joy, and Peace — go head-to-head for the coveted House Championship Trophy.
The two-day event, provided a platform to the students clash in a spirited display of confidence and creativity. The Principal, Ms. Nandini Shukla, addressed the participants, motivating and encouraging them to give their best.
The Vice Principals, Mr A L Abraham, Ms. Sujata Singh and Ms. Rina Banerjee and Registrar, Ms. Vrinda Suresh were also present in the occasion.
Students showcased their abilities in a variety of inter-house competitions such as Solo dance, Kavya Paath, English and Hindi Elocution, Declamation, Western Solo Song, and Quiz. A captivating rampwalk , based on the theme “Timeless Tapestry’’ added splendour to the event. The fest ended with the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The Runner-Up Position was bagged by the “Peace House” , and the Overall Championship Trophy was claimed by the “Joy House”.
The support and guidance of the School Management enabled the Junior Activity Incharge, Ms. Payel Roy , efficiently supported by the Senior Activity Incharge, Ms. Shalini Kumar to accomplish success conducting the Youth Festival.
