Kerala Samajam Model School organised a two day programme of the 35th Regional Conference of ASISC for the Principals of Bihar and Jharkhand Region on Monday, September 25, 2023 and Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in the school premises from 9:00 a.m. onwards on both the days.
The theme for “Regional Conference for Principals of Bihar and Jharkhand”, was Bridging gaps – Building bonds which focused on the development of Emotional and Spiritual Quotient along with maintaining relationships amongst family, students, teachers and peers.
Day 1 | September 25, 2023 | Monday
The Chief Guest for the inaugural program was Mr. R.N Murthy, MD, Tinplate Company of India Limited, inaugurated the 35th Regional Conference for the Principals of Bihar-Jharkhand Region by lighting the ceremonial lamp accompanied by the Guest of Honor Mr. K.P.G Nair, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Kerala Samajam. 152 CISCE affiliated schools of Bihar and Jharkhand registered their names for the conference.
A vibrant dance performance dedicated to Lord Ganesha and God’s own country Kerala was put up in the beginning followed by an enthusiastic motivational session by esteemed speaker Mr. Suresh Srinivasan, who explained about bridging the gaps and building relationship with stakeholders, students, teachers and parents. The session was very thought provoking and was appreciated by the audience present.
Post lunch session, after a discussion among the ASISC Regional Executive Members, Mr. T. D. Joshy was declared as President and Mrs. Nandini Shukla as the Vice President of ASISC Bihar-Jharkhand Region.
Day 2 | September 26, 2023 | Tuesday
The Special Guest of Honor was Mrs. Sangeeta Bhatia, Deputy Secretary, CISCE, New Delhi for Day 2 of the 35th Regional Conference for the Principals of Bihar-Jharkhand Region.
The session started with a prayer song dedicated to Goddess Durga followed by a motivational dance performance dedicated to the successful launch of Chandrayaan 3 and the Scientists who were taught by their teachers to try till you succeed.
Council session by esteemed speaker Mrs. Sangeeta Bhatia, in which she briefed about the CISCE Council academic achievements, NEP 2020 implementations in CISCE schools, Sports and Literary activities. The session was very informative for the Principals attending the conference.
The session as well as the two day programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Nandini Shukla, Principal, Kerala Samajam Model School.
