Annual Sports Day 2018

It began with the colourful march-past by the School Cabinet and Senior students. The red, green and yellow flags fluttered against the clear blue sky, creating perfect ambience for sportsmanship. Mr. Sampath Kumar, Plant Head, Telco inaugurated the event at 8.30 a.m. with a motivational speech, emphasising the importance of sports in education and progressive mindset enhancing quality of life.
The lamp of sportsmanship spirit was lit by the Chief Guest. The Torch bearers who are the National & Regional level players from the school – Harsh Kumar (Athletic 3km walking race); Shivam Kumar Raj (Karate); Akhil Sawa (Karate); Om Narayan Bhyuan (Chess); Ayush Giri (Karate); Abhimanyu Kumar (Karate); Tanishk Raj (Karate); Vinayak Agiwal (Lawn Tennis) and Asia Shiraz (Chess).
Std. 2, 3 & 4 presented a colourful drill symbolising the concept of ‘United We Stand, Divided we Fall’. Fun-aerobic drill by students of Std. 8 & 9 was vigorous and gave a “Swachhh” message to the students and the parents ‘To be the change that you want to see’.
The students of L.Kg. The Karate and Yoga presentation impressed the audience with their power and finesse.
Special kids competed in carom and chess tournament and were awarded medals and certificates.

Best Athlete (Boy) : Sarabjot Singh (Std. VII)
Best Athlete (Girl) : Arfa Naaz (Std. VII)
Prizes were distributed for various sporting events by Mr. T K Sukumaran, Trustee, Board of Trustee, Kerala Samajam. Loud cheers and shouts of victory echoed through the stadium.
The Sports Day closed with the National Anthem thus commemorating the 27th Annual Sports Day.
