Students at Kerala Samajam Model School are sensitized towards environmental issues through various events and activities.
With a sincere desire to nurture the nature ,the Environment Club of the institution in collaboration with Koru Foundation, involved its students and staff in a three day drive to collect varied recyclable waste like plastic stationeries, tin cans and milk and oil packets from 28th April to 2nd May 2023. These collected items have been handed over to the organising group for the recycling process.
Students interacted with the project followed by a quiz to instill responsibility towards the immediate surroundings in them. The club also helped Kerala Samajam Hindi School to participate in this Green activity designed by the Koru Foundation on the occasion of Earth Day 2023.
The project accomplished success under the guidance of Ms. Sujata Singh , Vice Principal, KSMS and mentor of the club. The school management strongly supports and encourages such effective activities in order to promote Green lifestyle in students and stakeholders.
