EDUCATED GIRL CHILD – A Boon to the Society

Tejaswini, a project to educate Juvenile girls has been initiated by the State Government of Jharkhand in collaboration with NIOS and World Bank.

This helps out to reach the first generation learners residing in remote and rural areas.

A five day induction programme was conducted in Kerala Samajam Model School, Golmuri, Jamshedpur from 7th November, 2022 to 11th November, 2022 for 67 trainees from different wards.

The programme started with the lighting of the lamp in the presence of :
Dr. Sandhya Kumar (Deputy Director of NIOS HQ Noida)
Mrs. Sonu Pandey (HQ Noida)
Mr. Gourav (RC Ranchi)
Mr Alok Bharati (Project Manager)
Mr. Pramod (ESP)
Mrs. Shobha Sukumaran (Co-ordinator, NIOS at Kerala Samajam Model School)
Mr. Anuranjan (Principal KSHS)

The concern officials discussed the details of Tejaswani Project and its core purpose.

During the 5 days induction programme the following resource persons : Ms. Shoba Sukumaran, Mr. Anuranjan, Ms. R. Indra Priyadarshini, Ms. Rohini, Ms. Shobha Das, Ms. Sushma Verma, Ms. Daisy, Ms. Preety, Ms. Rupali, Mr. Sanjay discussed on various subjects.
