Tree Plantation Drive

A successful Tree Plantation Drive was organized at Deer Park, Dalma, with the land being provided by the Forest Department.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students and teachers of Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) and Kerala Samajam Hindi School (KSHS), Golmuri. Guided by Forest Department officials and their teachers, the students planted saplings of various native tree species across the park.
The initiative aimed to increase green cover, conserve biodiversity, and instill in students a sense of responsibility towards the environment. Participants pledged to care for the planted saplings and to spread awareness about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance.
Principal, Ms. Nandini Shukla, Vice-Principal, Ms Sujata Singh and Registrar, Ms. Vrinda Suresh expressed their gratitude to the Forest Department for providing the land and appreciated the students’ active involvement in making the drive a success. Students were accompanied by teachers Ms. Deepta Chakraborty, Ms. Jaya Ghosh, Ms. Amita Nathan, Ms. Tulika Malhotra, Ms. Sheela Sudhakaran, Ms. Lata Panicker of KSMS and Ms. Lipika Sarkar and Ms. Sweta Singh of KSHS.
