WORLD ENERGY CONSERVATION DAY

The Environment Club of Kerala Samajam Model School, Golmuri, Jamshedpur celebrated the World Energy Conservation Day with great zeal.
Std. II to IV
A short video on Energy conservation was shown to the students in their respective classrooms.
Std. V to VII
A presentation made by the students of Environment Club was shown to the students as assembly presentation on 13th December.
Std. VIII to X
A presentation on ‘How to conserve Energy’ was shown to the students on 14th December.
Environment club students raised awareness about the need of conserving energy and the steps to be taken to reduce energy consumption.
To sensitize students about usage of electricity, an activity was conducted.
During the school hours, all the electrical appliances were turned off for 10 mins. This initiative, by the Environment Club was well supported and highly appreciated by the school authorities.
