The Career Guidance Club of Kerala Samajam Model School in collaboration with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Jamshedpur Chapter successfully conducted an informative session for Class XI students of both Science and Commerce streams.
The session featured esteemed speakers Mr. Surojit Bhumij, an experienced CS professional and Mr. Rajeev Jha, Incharge ,the ICSI Jamshedpur Chapter. In the course of an engaging hour, the speakers enlightened the students about the diverse career opportunities available in the field of Company Secretaryship and its importance in the corporate sector.
Mr. Bhumij shared valuable insights into the various roles a Company Secretary can undertake and emphasized the interdisciplinary nature of the profession.He elaborated on the roadmap to becoming a Company Secretary, including the academic and professional milestones required to excel in the field.
The session sparked significant interest among students, especially with Science stream attendees showcasing particular enthusiasm in exploring this career path. The interactive format allowed students to clarify doubts and explore the vast potential of a career in Company Secretaryship.
