STEP-UP Mothers

The Rotary Club, Jamshedpur once again in collaboration with Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) has come forward to start the 4th session of Spoken English Classes for the mothers of L.Kg to Std. II of KSMS and Spoken Hindi Classes for the mothers of Kerala Samajam Hindi School (KSHS) to enable their children to learn, write and communicate faster and perform better in academics.
The inaugural function was held in the school auditorium at 3:00 pm on 7th November 2022. To make the inaugural function a blessed one, Chairman Mr. K.P.G Nair along with other dignitaries of Rotary Club were invited to light the lamp of knowledge and wisdom.
The function was attended by President Rotarian Satnam Kapula, Secretary Rotarian Mangilal Chawla, Past District Governor Rotarian Dr.Bharat, Literacy Alternate Chairman Rotarian B Chandra Shekhar and Mr . Rajeshwar Rao along with Mr. K.P.G Nair, Chairman Literacy Committee of Rotary Club and Kerala Samajam. Vice Principals Mrs. Rajan Kaur, Mr. A.L Abraham, Mrs. Rina Banerjee, Mrs. Sujata Singh,
Around 70 participants have registered their names for the classes. The classes will commence from 11th November, 2022.
President Rotarian Satnam Kapula expressed her feelings and was feeling blessed to be a part of Spoken English and Hindi classes, an initiative taken by KSMS.
PDG Rotarian Dr. Bharat, Secretary Rotarian Mangilal Chawla also shared their thoughts on the importance of communication skill which helps to understand the person better.
Literacy Alternate Chairman Rotarian B Chandra Shekhar stated that there is no age bar to learn anything, everyday we learn from each other.
Mr. K.P.G.Nair, Chairman, Kerala Samajam also shared the importance of Spoken English classes for mothers,because they are close to their children, spend more time with them and leave a better impact on them.
The programme lasted for an hour. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Rina Banerjee, Vice Principal, KSMS.
