Kerala Samajam Model School, Golmuri, successfully hosted an insightful workshop titled Teach, Talk, Connect: Mastering Interpersonal Skills for its educators. The session, conducted by Ms. Salony Priya, a renowned counselor from UMMEED India, Kolkata, was aimed at enhancing teachers’ communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills, with a particular focus on how they can effectively express their perspectives within the school community.
The engaging session provided valuable techniques to strengthen interpersonal interactions among teachers, senior leaders, and committee members, fostering a more cohesive and effective professional environment. Ms. Priya shared practical insights on active listening, empathetic communication, and strategies to articulate viewpoints clearly and constructively within the school structure.
Teachers actively participated in discussions and role-playing exercises, making the session highly interactive and impactful. Many attendees expressed their appreciation for the school’s initiative in organizing such a beneficial program. “This workshop has truly transformed the way I engage with my colleagues and leadership.
