Interact Club of Kerala Samajam Model School, a reputed school in Jamshedpur is helping students to make right career in a unique way.

On 29th June, 2017 students of Interact Club visited ‘Vardaan Maternity Home’ to meet renowned gynecologist of Jamshedpur, Dr. Indu Chauhan. Students interacted with Dr. Chauhan about her experience as a gynecologist. The students asked many questions related to her personal life. The students who went for interaction wants to become a gynecologist and so they wanted to know the straight and correct step to become a good gynecologist after their ISC. The school took initiative to encourage the students to achieve their goal in a different way.

Students were excited after observing the ultra sound of a patient in front of them. This was a live experience for all of them.

In this job shadowing practice, students learnt about this job (gynecologist) by walking through a work day in a real workplace as a ‘shadow’ to a competent worker as a professional. This whole activity is conducted by Interact Club under the supervision of principal, Mrs. Nandini Shukla.
