Chairman's Message
Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) was established in 1980 with its sole aim being “Education is the basis of all progress”. A dream that became a reality, because of our founder late Shri. APR. Nair. It is for this very reason that we forayed into education, about 37 years ago.
The entire purpose of education is not to restrict itself in imparting bookish knowledge only but to inculcate humanitarian values like wisdom, compassion, courage, humility, integrity and competence in a student.
At KSMS, we impart education that is based on conscience and we develop young minds that are bustling with self-confidence, motivation and are ready to take up challenges.
The campus, sports and academic facilities all bear testimony to this effort. In order to promote an internationally acceptable education our key focus has been on faculty development providing continuous teachers training in order to deliver real value education and excellence in academics. Teachers are trained not only to teach well but are also expected to inspire confidence and trust in their students and become role models. Further, the school inculcates in the students a respect for tradition and ensures discipline and good manners.
We are confident that this school is one of the best place for your child in this steel city. We welcome your active interest and involvement in the progress and development of your child. We look forward to your continuous support today and in the years to come.

From the Principal's Desk
KSMS a co-educational school has built a reputation that is synonymous with excellence and social work. Here we provide an atmosphere to 3600 students where we nurture every child, provide equal and ample opportunities for growth and help the students to broaden their intellectual, physical and emotional horizons. At the same time, we develop in them a strong sense of integrity, compassion and generosity.
KSMS provides equal opportunities to develop in every student all skills required for the 21st century i.e. analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and communication. The focus is to provide a platform to every student for reaching his/ her full potential and enhancing self-esteem to become a successful part of an ever-changing society. At KSMS we believe in enabling all our stakeholders to realise and grow to their full potential;
So, ample training opportunities are provided to teachers and parents to enable them to be confident enough to handle issues related to children.
By removing fear of failure, students and teachers are encouraged to take healthy risks and if they fail, then to try again thereby enabling continuous excellence as a habit.
Our students are articulate, impressive and tolerant of others' perspectives and views.
We welcome you to our website to get a feel of the positive energy that the school vibrates with as we try to lay the foundation of the younger generation for a golden tomorrow.
"If you chase something that you felt strongly about, then it is called success"

Vice Principal's Message
At KSMS, we transform young minds for the vibrant and diverse world that awaits them. Our mission goes beyond academic excellence; we are committed to nurturing global citizens who are equipped with the life skills necessary to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape. We are proud to be a school that prioritizes the holistic growth of each child and remains committed to excellence in education.
Education is not merely the acquisition of knowledge but the holistic development of a child’s intellectual, emotional, and social abilities. Scholastic development, in particular, is the cornerstone of this philosophy, and we are committed to nurturing young minds through innovative and child-cantered approaches.
For our Pre-primary and Primary students, we embrace the play way method of teaching making education a joyful and engaging experience. Through hands-on activities, storytelling, and interactive sessions, we create an environment where curiosity is encouraged and learning is a natural outcome of exploration and creativity. Understanding that each child is unique, our curriculum is designed to cater to multiple intelligences. Our wide array of activities ensures that every student finds a path that resonates with their strengths. From art and music to science experiments and collaborative projects, we provide diverse opportunities for students to discover their passions and develop their skills.
Our assessment pattern is rooted in Bloom’s Taxonomy, focusing on competency-based questions that challenge students to think critically and analytically. This approach goes beyond rote memorization, fostering problem-solving abilities and encouraging students to engage deeply with the material to navigate the complexities of the world with confidence and insight.
We have the privilege of associating with a community of supportive parents and a strong School Alumni Association whose involvement plays a crucial role in education. Their engagement in school events and partnership with the school significantly enriches the working and learning experience. Education is a collaborative journey and together we create an environment that is conducive to growth and development.
As we strive for continuous headway and brilliance, let us be guided by the words of Aristotle: "Excellence is never an accident. It is the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives."
With warm wishes,
Sujata Singh

Vice Principal's Message
We at KSMS foster the advanced profile of education by cultivating inspired and academically curious global minded individuals by providing them with a conducive, purposeful and progressive place to study.
Digital tools like interactive white boards, smart panels, modules, and educational apps make learning more engaging and effective by catering to different learning styles. Apart from acing the Academic Performance Index and Intelligence Quotient, the school also aims at encouraging and nurturing social and emotional quotients among its students. It goes without saying that ‘Discipline’ is the architect of ‘Success’. Even so, we always pursue to encourage self-discipline in the young minds because that is the only bridge between Dreams and Accomplishments.
Our students transpire to achieve exceptional results in both scholastic and co-scholastic domains. They are upskilled by appreciation and learning from the knowledge and experience of those around them and engaged with current, scientific, cultural and academic developments within a protected and inclusive environment. Beyond the classroom, we encourage a diverse array of hobbies and interests that our students have with an exciting and extensive extra and co-curricular programme of events.
Furthermore, we sought for the enduring and determined cooperation and collaboration from the vital part of the educational alliance, specifically parents. Hence, I urge you to associate so that we can help our children reach extraordinary accomplishments.
SUCCESS IS NOT FINAL, FAILURE IS NOT FATAL; IT IS THE COURAGE TO CONTINUE THAT COUNTS
