72nd INDEPENDENCE DAY at

the KERALA SAMAJAM MODEL SCHOOL

Kerala Samajam Model School celebrated the 72nd Independence Day at its new premises at Golmuri. It was a historic event for all present, the Management Committee members, The Principal Ms. Nandini Shukla and Ms. Rajan Kaur, Vice-Principal, the faculty and the students present.

Mr. K P G Nair, Chairman, hoisted the national flag at 8.00 a.m. in the school premise. A minute silence was observed to pray for the courage and well-being of the people of Kerala. He urged the students to make good resolutions, ‘To love your nation means to respect & love your parents, teachers and colleagues.’

The school students of morning & afternoon school sang a beautifully modulated ‘Vande Mataram’ a tribute to the leaders of freedom struggle.

The Primary level students also celebrated the Independence Day with colorful beautiful balloons to understand the significance of patriotism.

All the students, staff and dignitaries of the Kerala Samajam were present at the flag hoisting function.
